Timothy Durkin

Tim qualified as a Solicitor in 1973 and is now the Senior Partner at Myer Wolff. He has overall responsibility for the management of the firm.

Tim has been able to utilise his management experience in other fields to strengthen the management of the firm. This has greatly assisted the substantial expansion of the practice in recent years.

Tim specialises in Mental Health Law and is a former national chair of the leading Mental Health Charity MIND.  He is the only Member of the Law Society’s Panel for Mental Health Tribunal Representatives within Hull and East Yorkshire.  However his mental health practice covers the wider region including North Lincolnshire. 

Whilst nowadays he specialises in Mental Health Law Tim has a broad experience in all aspects of private practice including some elderly client work such as applications to the Court of Protection, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.  He also undertakes some commercial and domestic conveyancing for his many established clients.
