Employment Legislation Seminar
On the 4th June 2009 we were pleased to present a seminar in conjunction with Thomas Heald, Independant Financial Advisors, to update clients upon important changes in employment legislation which are taking place during the course of this year.
Nathalie Stewart from Myer Wolff, a specialist in Employment Law matters, gave an informative presentation on the changes to legislation relating to holiday and sickness pay, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Nick Thomas from Thomas Heald then updated guests on the proposed changes to pension legislation, which are due to become effective in 2010 and how that will affect employers in the future.
The evening was very well attended by clients and representatives from local businesses. Due to popular demand we are repeating the seminar on Monday 27th 2009 July at 10;30am for 11:00am, again at our offices which are situate at King William House, Lowgate, Hull, HU1 1YE.
